 Luftig leicht und erdenschwer: Die Band Trionyx des Genfer Pianisten Maël Godinat ist ein Jazz-Trio der Sonderklasse. In klassischer Trio-Besetzung werden hier berückende Sound-Gebilde erzeugt. Die reduziert-melodiösen Kompositionen von Godinat sind manchmal so leicht wie eine Wolke, und dann wieder dunkel, schwer und düster. Es ist, als ob die drei jungen Musiker auf ihren Instrumenten Geschichten erzählen würden, Geschichten voller Spannung, Poesie und Mysterien.
